Sean Christopher Taylor is a pastor and author who writes about the gospel Jesus actually preached.
He has been in vocational ministry since 1995. He started as a pastor’s secretary and has since served as a youth leader, worship leader, worship pastor, teaching pastor, executive pastor, and now lead pastor.
Having seen the local church from nearly every angle, Sean writes with the honesty of someone who knows both its beauty and its burden up close.
His work is for thoughtful believers, weary Christians, spiritual seekers, and church leaders who sense there is more to the gospel than the version they inherited.
Through writing, teaching, and pastoral leadership, Sean calls people back to the message Jesus placed at the center: the reign of God breaking into the world through the life, death, resurrection, and lordship of Jesus Christ.
His first book, Thy Kingdom Come: The Missing Gem in the Gospel, invites readers to recover a gospel big enough for salvation, discipleship, mission, justice, Spirit-empowered life, and new creation.
Sean serves as Lead Pastor of Bridge City Community Church in Gainesville, Florida.
